- I agree with everything said ... really ... EXCEPT that language is
- irrelevant. That is certainly not true. For us as programmers/mathematicians
- the language we express our programs/theorems in is indeed critical to a clear
- thought process in the creation of those programs/theorems and the ability to
- VERIFY that they indeed perform the specified operations.

- Bugs ARE NOT THE INEVITABLE RESULT OF WRITING PROGRAMS. That is the
- language of defeatism. Language can and does impact the errors, clarity, and
- power of a piece of software.

- An object-oriented application framework although obviously more complex
- than most of the ROM(save QuickDraw) SHOULD not be more difficult to deliver
- bug-free(or shall we say CRASH free) How??

- Technology ... We need better software technology!!!

- We shall build systems a thousand times more complex in the future ... Does
- that mean that it's impossible to contemplate that these systems will be
- reliable and stable.
